📘 Job Description
The Assistant Director (Application Security) will ensure the security of PLRA’s digital systems and applications through advanced testing and vulnerability assessments. The role requires strong expertise in penetration testing, secure development, and cyber defense strategies.
⚡ Key Responsibilities
- Conduct security assessments of web, API, and mobile applications.
- Develop and maintain security testing methodologies and best practices.
- Perform penetration testing (SAST & DAST) and simulate real-world attack scenarios.
- Review source code to detect security flaws and vulnerabilities.
- Analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities based on severity and impact.
- Collaborate with development teams for remediation and monitoring.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and trends.
- Conduct security awareness and secure coding training sessions.
- Ensure secure development lifecycle adherence in software projects.
- Prepare and document findings, oversee remediation, and conduct post-remediation reassessments.
