📝 Job Description & Responsibilities
- Assist in data acquisition, entry, cleaning, and management of spatial and non-spatial datasets.
- Collect primary data using GPS devices, drones, mobile apps, and field surveys.
- Prepare thematic maps, GIS layers, and geospatial visualizations to support research and operations.
- Perform spatial analyses (buffering, overlay, network analysis, hotspot mapping, etc.).
- Support development and maintenance of the GIS database, including metadata documentation.
- Assist senior staff in designing GIS models and tools for monitoring fleet, routes, assets, and performance.
- Provide GIS inputs for reports, presentations, and publications; maintain reproducible workflows.
- Collaborate with operations, monitoring, and IT teams for GIS–MIS/ERP integration.
- Keep up with latest GIS/Geo-Informatics tools and research trends; ensure data accuracy and security.
